Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Sonota, hyundai sonota, 2002 hyundai sonata

I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata.  Few months ago, check engine light came on, took it to dealership & diagnostic testing was done & 1 28164-37200 Sensor ASM was replaced. It also showed PO0449 code, but that was not replaced. Still, having check engine lite come on. When refueling, the car will not start, keeps dying, & it takes several attempts to start the car, after refueling. It does not matter if car on empty or 1/2 full.  After it starts, I do not have any more trouble, until the next fill. Still check engine lite stays on.  Can you please help?

Code P0449 and hard to start after filling the tank are related and pointing the same part: Evap Purge Solenoid Valve. That solenoid is partially or fully stuck open and allows fuel vapors to travel into the intake manifold.That causes hard to start.Once all the vapors burn , you do not have any problem until the next gas station stop.Also, because of that valve, ECM sets that P0449 Insufficent Purge code.If you have that part replaced and code erased, that will take care of both problems.
