Hyundai Repair: Sonata wheel bearings, front wheel bearings, wheel hub

Question
What steps do I take to replace the front wheel bearings in my 2000 Sonata?  Will I need special tools to do this?

Answer
A hydraulic press is necessary to replace these bearings.  You'll need to remove the steering knuckle assembly from the car (with the wheel hub attached).  This will involve unbolting/disconnecting the ball joint, the strut, the axle, and the tie rod end.

Once the assembly is removed, remove the rotor and remove the clip locking the bearing in place.  Then press out the hub, and then the bearing.  If you do not have access to a press, simply take the assembly to a shop to have the old bearing removed and a new one installed.
