Answer
Hyundai has used anti-theft radios, but only through about 1996 in the U.S., so I'm a little surprised that the radio in your 2002 Sonata is asking you for an anti-theft code.

In any event, we can try to see if the radio code system is the same as is used in the earlier radios.  First turn the radio off.  Then, while holding the "4" button in, turn on the radio.  If the anti-theft feature is similar to the older radios, a series of lines and perhaps the number one should appear.  I'll need to know the positions of the lines in the display and whether the number 1 is present.  The number 1 will be on the left side of the display, and the lines will be displayed in positions in a 3 x 3 array.  You can give me the positions of the lines with a description something like "top row, center position."
