Hyundai Repair: 2003 sonata alarm problems, fuse box, factory stereo

Question
My ETACS randomly activates locking the doors while I am inside and my remote won't deactivate it. I Eventually figured out that the remote was shorted and got the ETACS turned off with a lucky click. I took the fuse out for the alarm in the drivers side fuse box but now my A/C compressor wont work. Also my factory stereo randomly turns off and on by itself so i also had to take the fuse out of that. Did i just blow a fuse for the A/C compressor? Or is all that wiring connected somewhere, with maybe one bad short causing all these problems? Can i do anything about it myself without having to take it somewhere? Am i doing something wrong by fiddling with the fuse box?

Answer
Chances are that the fuse you removed for the alarm also disabled your A/C.  While your alarm is turned off, remove the batteries from your remotes.  Then reisntall the fuse.  This should prevent the alarm from reactivating.

Depending on which fuse for the radio you removed, there may be some unintended consequences from that as well.  Keep a lookout for things that aren't working.  If you find anything, you might wish to unplug the radio and reinstall the fuse.
