Dear Sir!
I have santafi(2001or2002) six cylinder 2.7 L vehicle
when i enter the D %26 drive it's indicate 3rd and pickup in 3rd gear(no enter the first %26 second)please give the solution for It

Hi.  Anytime the transmission control module (TCM) recognizes a problem which it believes will compromise its ability to reliably operate the transmission, it will put the transmission in third gear and leave it there until the ignition is turned off.  

On your vehicle, this is most frequently caused by a faulty input or output speed sensor, but there are many potential causes for this.  Prior to attempting to solve the problem by replacing any parts, you should read the diagnostic trouble codes from the engine control module (ECM) and TCM.  These diagnostic trouble codes should point you directly to the nature of the problem that is causing your TCM to put the transmission in 3rd gear.
