Hyundai Repair: 00 Tiburon, phillips screws, phillips screw

I have a short shifter for my 00 tiburon.  Could you please direct me on how to install it.  Also some pictures would be a great help.

Without knowing exactly what you have, it's difficult for me to know I'm giving you accurate advice.  I'll list below instructions for removing the entire shifter assembly (for manual transmission).  Hopefully, you received instructions with the shifter that guide you in installation.  Those instructions will be the best source for installation instructions.

For removal:
1.  Unscrew the shifter knob.
2.  Unsnap the front console cover and remove.
3.  Remove the center lower dash facia.  If I recall correctly, there is one Phillips screw below the ashtray.
4.  Remvoe the console.  I believe there are 3 Phillips screws along the bottom of each side, and two more on the top front of the console attaching it to the dash behind where the bottom of the facia was.
5.  Remove the pins holding the cables to the shift lever.
6.  Remove the clips holding the caples to the shifter assembly.
7.  Remove the four bolts holding the shifter assembly in place and remove the shifter.
