Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Accent 2004, hyundai accent, coolant

Question
At the end of every working day (in the evening) i see my heat gauge moving towards the H. It never reaches the red spot, but it keeps exceeding the 2 white dots and returning back to normal. I changed the coolant a month ago but still the problem is there. I keep a watch on the level of coolant and realized that I loose about 0.75L every 5 - 6 days. The average temp. in my country is approx 43C midday and 30C midnight (very hot).

Answer
With the engine running, observe the gauge positions when the fan turns on and off.  If they're approximately the same positions you've described, there's probably nothing wrong with your car.  Higher temperatures will reduce the cooling systems effectiveness in keeping the engine cool.  As long as the coolant stays at the proper level you shouldn't have a problem.

The fact that you lose a liter every week or so, however, suggests that you may have a leak.  You should carefully check for leaks in your cooling system and repair any that are present.
