Hyundai Repair: 2002 santafe flush a/t how where pan, hyndai santa fe, pan gasket

Question
I have a filter and pan gasket but can't locate the pan on transmission. There is one on the front side and one on the drivers side of transmission but not one on the bottom. I had accidently poured motor oil in  and don,t have any money left and need the car now. I bought 14 quarts of fluid and a pint of flush. Someone told me to hook hose up to where the cooler is but not sure wich one and then purge out with engine on and pour more fluid in at same time then change filter and gasket and purge two more quarts. Please help me to find correct hose and where the pan is. I would buy a book but spent all my money on supplies. Please need asap.

Answer
You only have one pan.  It's on the front and you won't need to remove it.

What you will need to do is take a cooler hose loose at the bottom of the radiator.  Attach a piece of hose to the pipe so both empty into a pan.  Then, while running the engine and pumping out the old transmission fluid, add ONLY SPIII transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.  When your down to about your last four quarts, hook the cooler line back up and adjust your fluid level appropriately.

If you do not have SPIII transmission fluid, return what you have and purchase 14-16 quarts of SPIII for flushing.
