Hyundai Repair: 1996 Sonata manual, bell housing, v6 engine

Question
I have a 1996 sonata v6 with a damaged auto and a manual 4 cylinder with a damaged engine. Can I fit the v6 to the 4 cylinder manual transmission?

Answer
You won't be able to do this without significant modification.  The bell-housing on the four-cylinder transmission will not be the same shape as the V6 engine.  In addition, the transmission is most likely not designed to handle the power of the six cylinder engine.
