Hyundai Repair: Acceleration, hyundai excel x2, air intake hose

Question
Hyundai Excel X2 1994 1.5 Australia.
When I smoothly press the accelerator the engine dose not respond immediately. It takes a while (a second or more) to accelerate. The Injetors Computer Tension cables Plugs and router are replaced and Fule pressure is already checked. No other problem at all.
Thanks

Answer
My first thought here is that this may not be an engine performance problem.  It's possible, if you have an automatic transmission, that you may have a trasnmission problem.  In some cases, the certain transmission failures will lead to disengagement or slipping while the car is idling.

Presuming this is indeed an engine performance related issue, you might try checking the air intake hose between the air flow sensor and throttle body to be sure there are no leaks, and checking the ignition timing.

Considering what you've replaced already, however, I don't recommend replacing any more components unless it can be conclusively shown that they are defective.  If you've established it's not a transmission problem, and the air intake and timing check out okay, you should take your car to a shop that has an impeccable record for finding and repairing tough-to-find driveability issues.  The money you spend for a good diagnosis will be small compared to the amount of money you've already spent for replacement parts.
