Hyundai Repair: whats the noise, sway bar links, pot hole

i have a 2003 tiburon gt limited edition.anyways everytime i hit some pot hole or
any little bump something hears really loud like some type of thump where my
tires are at. im not very good with cars so i dont know what that is. please let me
know thanks

The stiff suspension of the GT usually accelerates the wear of the sway bar links and bushings.  Realistically, however, the noise could be coming from just about any suspension component.  Since you don't believe yourself to be very good with cars, your best option is probably to take the car to be checked by a reputable shop which is competent in suspension work.
