Hyundai Repair: Hyundai 2004 acces alarm system module, hyundais, scan tool

I want to program my new keyless remote, where is the alarm system control module located?

Answer
Factory remotes on 2004 Hyundais are programmable only with the dealer's scan tool.  In all cases, the maximum number of remotes is two.

Normally, I'd tell you where the control module controlling the alarm was located, too, but since I don't know the model Hyundai you have, I cannot look up that information.  It varies by model.  If you'd still like this information, you're of course welcome to follow-up with the model of the car and I'll be happy to give you that information as well.
