Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Lantra 1.8 si `p reg`, hyundai lantra, hyundai service

Question
i`ve just bought this car and the ABS , brake and handbrake light are staying on and will not go off . I`ve checked the fuse and topped up brake fluid . Someone has told me too get a service code ???.

Answer
Anytime the ABS lamp is on, that indicates the ABS system has detected a problem.  In the U.S., the brake warning lamp and the parking brake lamp are the same lamp, and can be controlled by the ABS module.

You'll need to take your car to a Hyundai service facility to have the anti-lock brake system diagnosed.
