Hyundai Repair: Door light stays on, door switch, dome lamp

Hello Sir. I have a 02 Sonata and last night when i closed the passenger door i noticed that the light didn't went off. I have open and closed all doors and the light wont go off. Can you help me please.

If you haven't done so already, check the dome lamp to be sure it isn't turned on.  There are three switch positions: on, off, and door.

If the lamp switch is in the door position, you'll need to check the door switches.  One by one, go to each door switch and make sure the plunger pushes in and comes back out and isn't broken.  If you find nothing abnormal, the next step is to unbolt each door switch, one by one, until the lamp goes out.  The switch that's unbolted when the lamp goes out is the one causing the problem.  You should check the adjustment of that door and thoroughly check the operation of that switch.
