Hyundai Repair: lights flashing (changing intensity), alternator problem, hyundai products

Question
I have owned an Accent for 8 years. Recently a problem arouse in which sometimes all the lights increase their intensity for a moment. As a result a few fuses and also a few lamps had to be changed. A generator has also been replaced, and later a battery, but the problem remains. Is it possible that the problem is with the voltage regulator? Is this a common problem with this model?

Answer
The voltage regulator is in the alternator on all Hyundai products, so you've already replaced that.  What you describe is typically an alternator problem.

Another possibility is that something is putting a large electrical load on the alternator and the lamps brighten when the load goes away, but this shouldn't cause lamps and fuses to blow.  That's purely a sign of too much voltage.  I'd recommend replacing the alternator again.  The voltage regulator is the primary failure on Hyundai alternators.  Hopefully, you're still within the warranty period on the alternator.
