I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata my air bag light came on this past weekend. Any idea why the light would come on?

The air bag warning lamp could come on for any reason that would affect the proper functioning of the air bag system.  You should take the car to your local dealer and have them at least read the diagnostic trouble code, and if it's not too involved, complete the diagnosis on the system.  Potential causes could be a poor connection, a faulty alternator, a blown fuse, or a defective air bag system component.
