Hyundai Repair: trouble staring car 2003 hyundai tiburon v6 107,000 miles, hyundai tiburon, fuel vapors

Question
hi it seems that only when i put gas in my car, i have to start it about 3 times. i have to keep the rpms up. the rpms try to go down to zero, so i have to push on the gas peddle. 4 mechanics including the dealership have no idea what it is, so i've been doing this for about 7/8 months.

Answer
Check your purge control valve.  Chances are it's stuck open, causing the fuel vapors to be pushed from the tank into the intake manifold and engine when you fuel the vehicle.  Since you've got all that fuel vapor in the intake and engine, the engine is flooded and has difficulty running.
