Hyundai Repair: 2000 Tiburon 4cyl. 2.0, cylinder misfire, tiburon

Rough idle, reduced power, check engine light on, code P0304, "#4 cylinder misfire"
Could this be a coil problem? The code table I have for the 2000 Tiburon skips past the P0350-P0362 codes. So Am I to conclude that the engine control does not check for ignition coil malfunction and that such a problem could show up as a misfire problem?

The ECM should notice a primary circuit coil issue separately (with a separate code), but not any sort of secondary issue.  So a malfunction of the high voltage portion of the coil is definitely a possibility.

Check your plugs and wires carefully.  Although I've seen coil issues, plug and wire issues outnumber them.
