Hyundai Repair: Diagnostic Codes, malfunction indicator light, range switch

Question
My Malfunction Indicator Light recently came on, I had to bring it in for an oil change anyway so I had them hook the computer up. They gave me the codes PO441 & PO705. Can you tell me what these mean and if I need to get anything fixed.

Answer
P0441 indicates abnormal purge flow and P0705 indicates an error in the signal from the transmission range switch.  I've never seen a P0441 that the problem wasn't with the purge control valve, and it's very rare for a P0705 to occur without the problem being in the range switch itself.

If you replace the purge control valve and transaxle range switch (and adjust the range switch accordingly), your chances of fixing the issue are very high.
