Hyundai Repair: 96 hyundai Accent, hyundai accent, coil pack

Question
Hey, I keep getting the po303 with the check engine light on. I would normally know how to fix a 303 on any car, but the regular steps haven't seemed to work. Also not that the car doesn't run like it has a misfire at all, it runs perfectly fine, but won't pass emissions because this light is on and it's the only code. Also, the code usually won't come up if you test drive it, it has to come up if you let the car idle for 15 minutes or so. So, already, we've replaced the plugs twice, switched the wires around, tested the coil pack against a new one, and the ohm readings were identical. Also, we sent the injectors out and had them cleaned and they all came back with good readings. And we took out the cam position sensor and it seems ok and so does the knotch on the cam. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Josh

Answer
You'll need to try to isolate what may be causing the misfire.  You're right that you've already tried most of the normal items.

If you haven't done so already, you should check the compression and cylinder leakage.  It's possible this is a mechanical issue.

If the compression and cylinder leakage check normally, Then start moving things to see if the misfire follows.  Switch the plug with cylinder #1.  Switch the injector with cylinder #4.  Send it back out and see if the misfire code changes or stays on the same cylinder.
