Hyundai Repair: 2002 hyundai accent transmission, hyundai accent, drain pan

where is the tranny fill, and drain.  and is there a dipstick? i didnt see one

If you have an automatic, there should be a red or yellow handled dipstick near the battery.  To fill, use the dipstick hole.  To drain, simply remove the two 17mm plugs in the drain pan and differential housing.

If you have a manual, there will be a 24mm drain plug in the differential housing.  Filling is accomplished through the hole exposed by removing the 17mm bolt in the front of the transmission, about in the center of the main body.
