Hyundai Repair: 94 excel very hard on fuel, fuel consumption, tail pipe

what could cause very, very high fuel consumption. black smoke just pouring out the tail pipe. Also revs up and down when it does stay running

Thanks for emailing me this question. I think that the problem may be somehting to do with the fuel line which would explain why you are using so much fuel.

In regards to the engine light, that would be a faulty light or fuse.

I am not sure about the black smoke. That is something that I dont know about. Maybe ask HT.
