Hyundai Repair: lo beam headlamp replacement, 2005 hyundai elantra, headlamp assembly

Question
how do you get the headlmap out on a 2005 hyundai elantra. there seems to be a clip that isn't easily removed    please help

Answer
There's a hook that holds the clip in place.  You'll need to push the bent end toward the front of the car and move off it the hook.  It'll be easier to work with if you already have the bulb unplugged.  If you're still having difficulties, simply remove the three 10mm bolts holding the headlamp assembly in place and take the headlamp off the car.  Then you'll be able to see everything clearly.

Note that the bulb has a locating tab on it.  Be sure the tab is in the correct position in the headlamp assembly.  Improper bulb position in the headlamp will result in poor focus and a dim lamp.
