Hyundai Repair: 1996 Hyundai Accent Head Lights, hyundai accent, low beams

Question
What causes only low beam not to work on both sides. I have changed both bulbs and still neither works. As far as I know they both went out at the same time.

Answer
The only things that could affect both side low beams and not the high beams on this car are the headlamp switch and some of the wiring.  

Chances are great that the problem is in the headlamp switch.  If you want to find out for certain, you'll need to do some testing of the low beam circuit between the bulb and the switch.
