Hyundai Repair: 2002 santa fe broken tail light....replace?, phillips screws, tail lamp

Question
Hi, We have a 2002 broken passenger tail light that we would like to replace ourselves.  We currently have about an inch of water in the lower part of the light due to some light damage.  That side of the vehicle's car lights do not come on except the turn signal.
Could you provide details on how to change the tail light out and and replace the socket that will probably need to be changed as well.
Thank you!

Answer
If the socket has been damaged, you can purchase from the dealer an entire tail lamp assembly which comes with new sockets and bulbs.  Simply remove the two #3 phillips screws holding the tail lamp in place, remove the tail lamp and unplug the electrical connector.  Then plug in the new tail lamp, set in place, and reinstall the screws.  If you can operate a screwdriver, you'll be able to do this repair.
