Hyundai Repair: I think its a bad ground some where ??, fuse holder, time bob

Question
I could not find a yellow fuse holder. I did go back to ensure all my wiring was removed. Could it be a relay that could have fried when I wired up my trailer convert? It also looks like I have an after market security system that someone installed. Could that have something to do with it I doubt it but you never know.
Thanks for your time.
Bob
I wonder if this is a situation where I may need a wiring diagram, or take it to the deal Ouch $$

I did check the fuses. I not sure I saw one in yellow holder. is it in the box, under the hood or on separte holder. Thanks I'll check tonight. Sorry I forgot to add it is a 2.4 5 speed not sure if that makes a difference.

-----Question-----
I have a 2002 Santa fe. The issues started a bit a go when I tried to wire up a trailer converter to the car. The converted kept blowing fuses, so I disconnected every thing I put in, so it back to original. Now when the car is driven the Back up lights are on, until the E-brake is used, then the back up lights turn off. When the car is not running and we use the E-Brake the hatch light comes on, on dash. Even though the hatch is not open, when the car is started and the E-brake released the Hatch light goes off. or when the car is running and the lights turned on but the e-brake is still on the Hatch light goes off. If the car is running and the E-brake is on (Hatch light on) I shift it into reverse the Hatch light goes out. I have taken out the bulb in the back up light as a temporary fix until I can find the issue.  The hatch remains on when the car is turn off with the E-brake on. I've tried several things and I am getting frustrated. I think it is a bad ground but I can't seem to find it. Some how I think it is linked.

Check *all* of your fuses first.  It's possible one of the fuses is blown, causing an abnormal power feed issue.  If you have a fuse in a yellow holder that pulls out, be sure to check that one as well.  If there are no blown fuses, then go back and recheck your work in restoring everything to its original condition.

Not all vehicles have a fuse in a yellow holder, and I don't recall which vehicles have it.  I mentioned the yellow holder because it's easy to miss that it holds a fuse.  If your vehicle has one, it should be in the inside fuse box.

Answer
I suppose it's possible the security system could pose an issue, but I doubt that as well.  It shouldn't affect the reverse lamps and the brake warning lamp.
