Hyundai Repair: Removing and re-attaching transmission, shaft collar, clutch release

Question
HT,
I have a 2004 Tiburon special edition V6 six speed manual transmission that the clutch wore out with only 12000 miles. I bought a centerforce racing clutch to replace it. I am having difficulty pulling the transmission off of the engine. It is as if something inside is not letting go. What is connected? Is there a trick to getting them apart?  Also I understand that once the clutch is replaced the throw out bearing needs to be snapped into the clutch after the transmission is mounted to the engine, how is that exactly done and with what kind of force and tool?

I would greatly appreciate your help, thank you for taking your time.

Answer
You'll need to remove the clutch release lever from the top of the transmission.  The forks in are still in the throwout bearing and the shaft cannot turn to let them out because there's a detent on top of the bellhousing keeping the lever from turning.

Flip the lever over and install back on the shaft.  You'll have enough room for it to turn when you pull the transmission out.  Then, for reassembly, instead of putting the new throwout bearing into the pressure plate, put it on the input shaft collar and rotate the forks back into the bearing.  Once you've reattached the transmission to the engine, you can rotate the clutch release lever and snap the throwout bearing into the pressure plate.
