Hyundai Repair: Replacing Rear Combination Light, hyundai elantra, combination light

Question
I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra(4 door). The passenger rear light is out.  I thought I could just go through the trunk to replace it but that doesn't seem to be true.  How do I replace it or do I have to take it to the shop?  HELP!!

Answer
The lamp is held in place with three 8mm nuts.  You'll need to open the access cover in the trunk trim and remove the three nuts.  Then the lamp will pull straight out (with difficulty-- it snaps in place).  Once you have the lamp off the vehicle, you can replace the bulb.
