Motorcycle Repair: engine, 2000 katana 600, motor mounts

i was wondering if you could tell me if i would be able to put a 2000 katana 600 engine into my 88 gsx600f frame

-it looks like the basic engine design
hasn't changed much on the outside,
I think it may fit but I have not
personally tried this swap.
-You may want to try asking on some
Suzuki forums or take some measurements
of the frame and engine mounting points.
-It looks like the same motor mounts
were used 1988-95 for sure and the newer
ones look very similar too.
