Hyundai Repair: spark plugs, intake plenum, gx300

Question
my daughter just got a 2001 hyundai gx300 and we need to change the spark plugs, but we can't find them.  Can you help?  We already bought new plugs and were told they have no plug wires.  Is this true?

Thank You,
Kathy

Answer
You'll need to remove the engine cover to see where the plugs are.  On the front bank, they'll be under the three igntion coils bolted onto the valve cover.  From these coils, there will be three plug wires going to the three plugs in the rear bank.  To service the rear plugs, you'll need to remove the intake plenum.  If you're not comfortable with a moderate level of disassembly to replace the plugs, you should probably leave this job to a professional, or at least someone who is comfortable with this level of disassembly.
