Question -
How do you replace the high mounted rear stop light bulb on a 2003 Hyundai accent

Answer - I have a three door hatch back
To give you the correct answer, I'll need to know whether you have the 3 door hatchback, or the 4 door sedan.

Answer
1.  Pry off the small trim cover directly underneath the lamp.
2.  Remove the bolts holding the lamp onto the hatch.
3.  Unplug the lamp and remove.
4.  Remove the screws holding the halves of the lamp assembly together.
5.  Separate the halves and remove the old bulb.
6.  Installation is the reverse of removal.

While you have the lamp apart, make sure the ground terminal and screw holding it are tight.  Many of these lamps stop working simply because of a poor connection between the ground lug and the bulb socket.
