Questionhow to replace the front passenger door window on a 2002 Santa Fe.
Answer1. Remove the triangular mirror garnish.
2. Remove the small square plastic cover behind the inside door handle.
3. Remove the screw holding the door handle bezel and remove the bezel.
4. Remove the five screws holding the door trim panel in place. Two will be on the rear of the panel, one in the pull handle, and two on the front. Both rear screws and one of the front ones will probably have a small round plastic cover over them that can be pried out with a small screwdriver.
5. Pull outward on the bottom of the door panel to pop it loose from the door.
6. Lift the panel upward off the sill.
7. Pull the plastic water liner loose so you can see into the door.
8. Lower the window until you can access the bolts holding the window grips.
9. Unplug the electrical connectors to the door panel and put the panel aside.
10. Unbolt the window grips from the regulator.
11. Lift the window out the top of the door.
12. Install the new window glass in the reverse order.
