my 2000 accent has an intermittent starting problem as it doesn't happen all the time. The car starts fine when cold but when it is hot it will start fine if started 5-15 mins after shut off.20mins to an hour after shut off it seems to have no spark and just turns over.It takes up to 30mins to get it started again but runs perfect after it starts.Could this be a crank sensor problem or what do you suggest  thanks

Answer -
It could be a crank sensor problem.  I'd have it checked for trouble codes first.  If you come up with a code, it could lead you to the cause of the problem.

Answer
It's possible there will be codes to recover.  Checked for "stored" and "pending" codes.  The check engine lamp won't illuminate until the computer sees the same problem on two consecutive drive cycles.

If you do have a trouble code, it may lead you in the direction of the problem.  If not, then you'll probably need to be doing the diagnosis while the condition is occurring.  Otherwise, any tests you run have a significant probability of showing a false okay result.
