Hyundai Repair: crankshaft sprockket removal, crankshaft pulley, flywheel teeth

Question
I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L dOHC engine which I am curently working  on and I need to know how to remove crankshaft sprocket so I can replace belt engine timing drive

Answer
To remove the crankshaft pulley and sprocket, you'll need to remove the 22mm center bolt and the four 12mm bolts holding the pulley.  If you don't have access to an impact wrench for the 22mm center bolt, you'll need some way of holding the engine from turning.  Probably the easiest way to do this is to remove the bottom cover in the bellhousing and insert a pry bar in the flywheel teeth.

Once you've removed the pulleys, you should be able to remove the timing belt covers.  Then you should be able to remove the main timing belt.  Once the timing belt is off, you should be able to slide the crankshaft sprocket off the crankshaft.
