Hyundai Repair: Car wont start after Spark Plug replacement, vacuum leak, throtle body

Question
I replaced the spark plugs on my 04 Tiburon GT 2.7L V6.  The repair required removal of the throtle body and top part of the intake.  After replacing the plugs and reassembling the intake, the car starts but immediately shutsdown.  Under the hood there is a new whirring sound.  My first thought is that the throttle and choke cables are not mounted and adjusted properly.  The whirring sound suggests a vacuum leak, but with a vacuum leak the car should stay running and just run pooly.  What sugestiions do you have for diagnosing and repairing this problem.

Answer
The car may or may not stay running when you have a vacuum leak depending on the size of the leak.

You should check anything you had to take apart to replace the plugs.  Of special interest should be the PCV hose and the area where the plenum joins the manifold.
