Hyundai Repair: re: speed sensor, abs sensor, speed sensor

Question
I didn't think the light would come on when I'm driving unless I jam on the brakes.  It does the self test and if I unhook the sensor, the abs and tcs lights remain lit while driving.  When I hook it all back up, the lights are out.  After 2 drving trips, that 0p500 code comes.  I'll try replacing the abs sensor.  Would the speedometer sensor cause a p0500 code too?  Thanks.

Answer
Don't replace the ABS sensor.  If the ABS lamp doesn't come on when driving normally, the sensor isn't bad.  The speedometer won't cause a p0500 code because it's on a different circuit.  You need to check the wiring between the ABS module and the ECM.
