Hyundai Repair: engine whine, hyundai elantra gls, engine whine

2001 Hyundai Elantra GLS 75,000 miles
A couple of days ago I notices a whine while I accellerated. It's there all the time now. I was wondering if I was low on some fluid or if this is something more serious?

Many things on a car can cause a whining noise.  Could be low fluid, brake pad wear indicators, or something more serious.  You should take it your repair facility and have it checked.  Once you know what the problem is, you can make an informed decision about repair.
