I have a 2001 HYUNDAI ACCENT 1.6 engine. My car starts up but when i put it in gears (any) it wont move at all.
The car used to move good in reverse but now i cant not reverse my car last night i could not go up a hill because it couln't pull up the hill.

When you try to accelerate, does the speedometer stay at zero or give a speed reading?  If it gives a speed, you should check to see if one of the axles has popped out.  If it stays at zero, you should check your fluid level (running in neutral, parking brake on), your shift cable, and the range switch (this tells the TCM (Transmission Control Module) what gear you're in).  If all that is okay, then you've got an internal transmission problem requiring major work/transmission replacement.

Answer
If it was moving in reverse, then you won't have an issue with the axle being popped out.

Forgot to ask earlier-- is this an automatic or manual?  I've pretty much assumed it's an automatic.

Presuming it is an automatic, you'll still need to check the other items I mentioned to determine what's wrong (fluid level, shift cable, range switch).  A problem in any of these could cause the symptoms you've given.  But, the bad news is that it much more frequently a costly transmission issue than either of those other things.
