Hyundai Repair: Windshield wiper problem 99 Hyundai Sonata, alternator pulley, hyundai sonata

Question
Hi there,

Yesterday you gave me some great advice for which I want to say thank you.
My boyfriend yesterday changed the alternator, pulley belt, and battery in the car. Everything went really well. However, this morning when I turned the wipers on, they moved very slowly. I'm wondering if something was done wrong, or if he may have touched something he shouldn't have...or if it has nothing to do with it.
Thanks!

Answer
The only thing that I could see that would be related would be if there's still a voltage issue.  Does everything else electrical in your car work properly?  Is the battery lamp off?

If you've got no indication of an electrical problem, you should begin inspecting the wipers.  Make sure there's nothing making it difficult for them to move across the windshield.  The windshield should be wet.  If that's all okay, then you've probably got a binding linkage or a worn wiper motor.
