Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Sonata 2006 a/c does not work, hyundai sonata 2006, powertrain control module

Question
Engine stalled when I was driving it. I was able to pull the car over and then it started without any problems. But air conditioner stopped working. Only hot air is coming out since then. I tried to replace fuse but it didn't help.

Answer
The engine stalling is rather disturbing.  Just for that problem, you should make a timely visit to your local dealer for warranty service.  It's possible that the PCM (powertrain control module) sees or has seen something that has made it turn off the air conditioning.

Before you drive the vehicle again (and after the engine has cooled!) remove the radiator cap and check to be sure there is coolant in the radiator.  Overheating can cause your car to stall, and the PCM will not operate the A/C if the vehicle is overheating.  If your coolant is full, go ahead and drive it to the dealer.  If not, call roadside assistance.

In any event, I'd be expecting Hyundai to cover all repairs on a car this new.
