Hyundai Repair: 2000 Hyundai Tiburon Wont turn over, hyundai tiburon, obd2 code

Question
My girlfriends car is a 2000 tiburon and recently while driving it suddenly shifted down and then just died. After towing it to a firestone and had the diagnostic test done on it they said that the fuel pump was out and that it needed to be replaced. So having the car towed home I proceeded to check the oil, the car had MAYBE a quart of oil left inside it. The oil hadnt been changed in sometime. Well I went ahead and replaced the fuel pump, it has power to the pump but won't pump on its own when the key is turned it wont power. so i ran some longer power wires from the fuel pump directly to the battery and it pumped out onto the drive way just fine. the motor wont run unless fuel is shot into the engine manually, the fuel pump works when directly hooked up to a power source. and the car has a OBD2 code of p0562 which is low system voltage. my question is when the car ran out of oil is there anyway it would have shut down the fuel pump and made it stop pumping, and why wont it start pumping again. the oils been changed already. Is there another fuel shut off by the engine? or a fuel relay switch?. I know theres one by the gas tank. and i did access the fuel tank from under the back seat. i hope i gave u enough information and hope you can help.

thanks zack

DTC - P0562

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The PCM provides ground to one side of the coil of the main relay and the other side is connected to the battery. The PCM monitors battery voltage and the voltage after the main relay.
DTC DESCRIPTION
The sets DTC P0562 if the PCM detects system voltage lower than the possible range of battery voltage.

MONITOR DTC STATUS

NOTE
If any codes relating to system voltage(P0560) is stored, do ALL REPAIRS associated with those codes before proceeding with troubleshooting.
Connect scan tool and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)" mode.
Press F4(DTAL) to select DTC information from the DTCs menu.
Confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "Complete". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.
Read "DTC Status" parameter.

Is parameter displayed "History(Not Present) fault"?

NOTE
History (Not Present) fault : DTC occurred but has been cleared.
Present fault : DTC is occurring at present time.

? Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or the PCM's connector, which was repaired but PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

? Go to next step as below.
TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION
Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found?

? Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

? Go to "Charging System Inspection" procedure.
CHARGING SYSTEM INSPECTION
Check battery condition and Generator output.
Are battery conditions and Generator output both okay?

? Check for poor connection between PCM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

? Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR
After a repair, it is essential to verify that the fault has been corrected.
Connect scan tool and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTCs)" mode.
Press F4(DTAL) and confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "Complete". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.
Read "DTC Status" parameter.
Is parameter displayed "History(Not Present) fault"?
