Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Elantra starting, hyundai elantra, elantra wagon

Question
I have a 2000 Elantra wagon with 37,000 miles on it.  When I turn the key, accessories like the radio will come on, but when I rotate the key to the start position nothing happens.  After many (like 5-20) tries it will start right up.  It appears to be a switch problem?  Not sure if this is a factor, but so far this only happens mornings when it's cool outside.  Later in the day it starts normally.  I'd appreciate any suggestions; thanks in advance.

Answer
I have reviewed all the wiring for this car an I have come up with what you think is very plausible an the ignition  switch should be changed out . But before changing it out you can check it for power out when cold with a volt meter on the back of the switch.Only reason i say check first is you may also have a lose connections on one of the connectors that come from the switch ,I hope this helps if you have anything more let me know, have a great night.
