Isuzu Repair: ran out of fuel wont start rodeo 93 2.6 manual, fuel rail, tire valve

Question
Recently ran out of fuel in our rodeo 2.6l 93 unleaded manual truck.Ran out of fuel on the way home or was very low have put plenty of fuel in but wont start.have checked all fuses and motor is cranking over well.Any help appreciated also could have a air lock or other fuel problem not sure how to check if fuel is up to rail or if there is a bleed valve to get rid of an air lock?

Answer
Air-locked most likely Matrat. I would relieve all pressure of the fuel rail by depressing the fuel rail pressure valve. It looks like a tire valve and should have a cap that can be unscrewed. Also have your fuel pump voltage checked okay and let me know what happens please:)
