Isuzu Repair: Rodeo-new battery, a/c problem, 2001 isuzu rodeo, isuzu rodeo

Question
QUESTION: I recently had some battery trouble so I installed a new battery and put new cable connectors on my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo.  Now, whenever I turn the a/c on the engine begins to stall and eventually dies.  I'm wondering what the problem may be.  Any ideas?

ANSWER: Well did it do this AT ALL? before the battery installation or just after? Also where do you fill up your tank with gas?

QUESTION: It never happened before I installed the new battery.  I am wondering....when I put on the new cable connectors, I joined the ground with the main cable into one bundle on both the negative and positive cables.  Would that cause any trouble?

I fill up at various gas stations.  Last time I filled up was about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for your help!  Let me know what you think.

Answer
Well you always want to keep the negative and positive cables separated as bundling them could cause what you call crossfiring. When voltage jumps from one cable to the next. As for the gas, whatever you do DO NOT!! get ethonal gas. I have seen about 13 cars and engines ruined by this gas already and the numbers are sure to skyrocket as well.
