Isuzu Repair: 99 rodeo, ABS light, check Engine light, rotors, fuse

Question
Hi, My 99 Rodeo, v6 has 110K miles, ( all mine) and I've had issues with the check Engine light many times, and it always turn out to be the Fuel Sensor, and I just keep tank full, and light goes away.  BUT yesterday ABS light came on, Now I had car serviced for new tires recently June2008, and they checked for brakes, and said I could get at least another 10K miles from them, but that my rotors were a bit warped, but didn't need to be replaced,  My question is what is the ABS light for? and Can I ignore it? Will my brakes still work?

Answer
The ABS(Anti-Locking System is a Luxury not a necessity. Although it is nice you can pull the fuse or relay on it and I would also ask the dealership about the recall they had on this issue. They will try to play dumb but don't take no for an answer. If need be I would mention an attorney.
