Isuzu Repair: ac, r 134a, 1996 isuzu hombre

i have a 1996 isuzu hombre that im replaceing the whole ac but i do not know where the orifice tube is located. If you could you explain how i get to it i would really apreciate it. thankyou

Well Ryan. If I am not mistaken, Isuzu was nice enough to install the expansion valve inside of the evaporator. Which is conveniently located in the dashboard of the vehicle. On some models though it is located on the firewall. When replacing an A/C system Ryan you have to replace the compressor,condensor, evaporator, expansion valve, receiver/drier. and refill using R-134A and the correct type of refigerent oil as well which I think is PAG 46. If you do not buy even one of these items the store or shop will not warranty any of their work or parts. So that is something to think about okay? Which all oft his will run you anywhere from 450-1000.00
