Isuzu Repair: Isuzu Trooper Drivers window, plastic retainers, 1999 isuzu trooper

1999 Isuzu Trooper Drivers Window not working. Took panel off and saw the two bottom plastic retainers had broken off. I used epoxy to reattach them. But on my first try to bring the window down they broke off again. Do you think it may be a mechanical problem with the rollers?
Does the regulator regulate how much power the motor gets so that it does not damage the window???

Well the motor needs 12 volts for it to run so I would assume that the retainers broke just due to old age, however, you can purchase new ones at any local autoparts store Walter. This is quite common and nothing to worry about okay? Although if you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask okay?
