Isuzu Repair: 2001 Rodeo, oxygen sensors, vacuum lines

Question
Began having trouble with my '01 Rodeo several months ago. It's a 3.2, V6 with 77,500 miles. Check engine light came on, started to idle rough, and will stall at stoplights, etc. I replaced oxygen sensors, but the problem persists. I have been consistent with regular maintenance, replaced serp belt a while back. Haven't had any big issues with this vehicle, but now it's started to pester me. I've been reading thru other questions and seeing that problems abound for these vehicles. I'm wondering if I should get rid of it or not. It's paid off, so I'm saving money by having it, but if it's only going to cause more and more problems in the future, and not be a reliable vehicle, then maybe I should part ways. What do you think? Oh, and are you interested in buying an '01 Rodeo with 77,500 miles? I know a guy.....

Answer
I am not intereseted in buying it no John, sorry! ALthough your intake gaskets could be the culprit. If you take a can of carb cleaner and slowly and (carefully!!) spray it around the intake gaskets and notice any bubbling or hissing. Then that is the culprit. The issues will continue and even get worse John so I would recommend selling it yes. Isuzu even has lawsuits against them and they aren't even in the U.S. anymore. Have you checked any of your vacuum lines yet?
