Isuzu Repair: Isuzu Clutch Repair, clutch repair, fly wheel

I have had quotes on the repair of my clutch from four different Repair  Shops! Each of these has given me a different reason for the noise my clutch is makeing.None of them performed more than a cursory inspection {listened only} yet each of then recommended purchasing a complete clutch overhall kit plus a fly wheel and slave cylinder not included in the overhall kit.Bottom Line is $800 for parts and labor!!! Have we lost our ability to REALLY DIAGNOSE a problem and then then price the parts and labor accordingly including the cost for the diagnosis????
