Isuzu Repair: 00 trooper shutters when given gas or climbing up a hill, engine compartment, maf

Question
so i was washing the engine compartment with simple green and water today
because i am trying to sell it. i started driving it and it would shutter when given
gas to accelerate, the check engine light came on for  little but then went out
and i have not seen it sense. why does it do that? something to consider is i just
had my trans rebuilt two weeks ago

Well Andrew congrats on selling it. You won't be sorry trust me. The water could have struck the MAF or the IAT sensor. Which would have caused an inaccurate reading in result to your Check engine light. Although if it does it again email me and tell me what the symptoms are okay?
